I brought traditional Chinese lantern culture to the UK and built it into one of Europe's largest immersive cultural experiences. Lightopia Festival ran across 15 cities and won Grand Prix at the global events industry awards — competing against teams from Google, Microsoft and Sony.
Then the company entered administration, due to forces beyond my control. I spent the next two years studying cultural projects across China, the UK and Europe — and found one pattern everywhere: China has world-class cultural creation, but almost no system for turning it into products that work internationally.
That gap is my work now. I built CAAP™ (Culture As A Product) from thirteen years of real operations — not theory — and I use it to help cultural founders cross the same bridge I did.
